The NMS provides personalized support to patients starting a new medication for specific long-term conditions. Our pharmacists will work with you to ensure you feel confident and informed about your treatment, promoting better health outcomes and adherence to your medication regimen.

You may be eligible for the NMS if you've been prescribed a new medication for any of the following conditions:

• Long-term Risk of Blood Clots, including Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

How Does the Service Work?

Our NMS involves three key steps:

• Initial Consultation: When you receive your new medication, our pharmacist will discuss the service with you and, with your consent, enroll you in the NMS.

• Follow-Up Consultation: Approximately 7 to 14 days later, we'll arrange a follow-up—either in person or over the phone—to discuss how you're managing with the new medication, address any issues, and provide additional information.

• Second Follow-Up: After another 7 to 14 days, a final consultation will be conducted to ensure you're comfortable with your medication and to resolve any remaining concerns.
